The ERP Integration Engineer builds the web services, APIs, and database management logic that provide the framework upon which our third-party integrations connect back into our core ERP solution. As an Integration Developer, you will be working on building scalable, responsive and highly available web-service integrations. Your responsibilities will include all the phases of development. From architecture design and technology selection to implementation, deployment and technical support. These services will require you to work with our internal technology teams and external third-party providers to integrate to their solutions.
Integrate with our eCommerce partners (Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon), shipping partners (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL and more) and EDI.
Definition and implementation of API interfaces (REST and GraphQL). We take pride in our 100% open API with over 600 endpoints.
Implementing simple solutions to complex business logic that enables our merchants to manage financials, orders, and shipments across millions of transactions.
Building reusable components and packages for future use.
Translating specs and user stories into reviewable, test covered patches.
Peer review code and refactor existing code.
Drive the architecture, product backlog and timelines for scaling a mission critical product
Design, development and unit tests of web service (SOAP/REST) integrations.
Integration of third-party APIs and connection to Fulfils API
Participate in requirement, design discussions, and come up with solution according to functional specifications
Translate highly complex business requirements into technical solutions through efficient design and using appropriate tools and technologies
Provides support for overall systems testing and implementation into the production
Technical support and troubleshooting production issues and solution implementation
Create necessary technical documentation including API references, guides and tutorials.
Demonstrated proficiency with Python and SQL
Ecommerce industry experience spanning platforms (e.g. Shopify, Magento), shipping carriers (e.g. USPS, DHL, Fedex etc) and EDI
Ability to adapt and write high quality code that will be peer reviewed.
Familiarity with code versioning tools like GIT.
Strong sense of ownership and leadership quality
Experience in building web services and familiarity with HTTP, REST, JSON
API design and development
Experience working with ORMs like SQLAlchemy or Django
Experience in developing large server side applications and microservices.
Experience with python testing tools (pytest) and test automation.
Successful track record of developing quality software products
Prior experience at a growth stage Internet/Software company
Experience with ReactJS, Google Cloud, Heroku
Cloud deployment and scaling experience.
