Job description

We’re looking for a sharp, early-career EDI & 3PL Integrations Associate who’s eager to learn by doing. You’ll dive into the infrastructure powering modern commerce—helping fast-growing brands connect to big-box retailers, marketplaces, and 3PLs through real-time integrations. This is not legacy EDI consulting. You’ll use AI tools, internal debugging systems, and direct merchant interaction to deliver high-quality integrations quickly and efficiently.

You’ll apprentice under experienced integration leads, but you’ll take real ownership from day one—validating files, debugging edge cases, and supporting live launches. Over time, you’ll grow into a consultant who can lead projects across both EDI and 3PL workflows.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the onboarding of EDI and 3PL partners by collecting credentials, documents, and test data

  • Validate and troubleshoot EDI documents (e.g. 850, 856, 810) using internal tools, payload logs, and logic

  • Collaborate directly with merchants, 3PLs, and trading partners to debug and resolve integration issues

  • Draft mapping documentation, document edge cases, and summarize test results

  • Use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Zapier to accelerate debugging, documentation, and repeatable workflows

  • Monitor live integration traffic and respond quickly when issues arise

  • Work cross-functionally with Implementation, Support, and Engineering to ensure integrations go live cleanly

  • Learn how ERPs, APIs, EDI standards, and 3PL workflows fit together

  • Grow into an integrations specialist—able to own EDI and 3PL projects end-to-end

Job requirements

We’re Looking for Someone With:

  • 0–2 years of full-time experience, ideally in a customer-facing or operations role—internships, campus jobs, or support roles all count

  • Curious how systems talk to each other—especially in logistics, supply chain, or ecommerce

  • A fast learner who breaks down complex problems and figures things out

  • Strong communication skills—clear writing, good follow-up, and professional merchant-facing interactions

  • High agency—you take ownership, close loops, and push projects forward without waiting to be told

  • Comfortable with structured data (JSON, XML, CSV) and logic-based troubleshooting

  • Excited to use modern tools like Slack, ChatGPT, and GSuite, to move faster and stay organized

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working with eCommerce tools (Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, marketplaces)

  • Familiarity with ERPs, 3PLs, or basic EDI concepts

  • Exposure to scripting or APIs (Postman, Python, SQL, etc.)

  • Played with automation tools or built AI workflows for fun (tell us about it!)

  • You don’t enjoy digging into technical systems or finding root causes

  • You’re not comfortable speaking with clients or external stakeholders
